Two Tigers Collided above the Ardennes.

 




















At the 9th of December of 2003 2 F-16's of the 31 Tiger Squadron,
based at Kleine Brogel collided in mid-air during a training-attack mission.
The 2 F-16's with the serials FA-93 & FA-122 of the Belgian Air Force
collided at approximately 11:30 local time above the Ardennes.


One of the two pilots Involved in the Collision wasn't able to bail out
of his aircraft an sadly didn't survive the Crash. The second Pilot was
able to Bail out successfully and remained unhurt.
